Key Responsibilities

  • Drawing up medications; calling in medications
  • Application of sterile fields
  • Applying and removing casts and splints
  • Fitting for orthotics
  • Locate any necessary films, test results, and/or reports for upcoming appointments
  • Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies for clinic, power up computers etc.
  • Prepare charts for clinic and print out patient information as requested by the physician
  • Schedule tests/procedures and surgeries and precert as needed
  • Schedule follow-up appointments
  • Verify pre-op labs and scheduling surgery clearances as needed
  • Prepare surgery packets
  • Assist other physician team members as needed
  • Fill out disability, return-to-work and insurance forms
  • Check-out patients, collect co-pays and/or deductibles
  • Friendly and professional patient communication when speaking to patients, procedure education, escorting patient to and from exam rooms and communicating test results to patients.
Description Primary Responsibilities/Requirements
  • Perform general nursing duties
  • Perform suture/staple removal
  • Perform wound care/dressing changes
  • Assist with or perform x-rays for MD
  • Drawing up medications; calling in medications
  • Application of sterile fields
  • Applying and removing casts and splints
  • Fitting for orthotics
  • Locate any necessary films, test results, and/or reports for upcoming appointments
  • Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies for clinic, power up computers etc.
  • Prepare charts for clinic and print out patient information as requested by the physician
  • Schedule tests/procedures and surgeries and precert as needed
  • Schedule follow-up appointments
  • Verify pre-op labs and scheduling surgery clearances as needed
  • Prepare surgery packets
  • Assist other physician team members as needed

  • Obtain physician signature on miscellaneous forms
  • Check-out patients, collect co-pays and/or deductibles
  • Friendly and professional patient communication when speaking to patients, procedure education, escorting patient to and from exam rooms and communicating test results to patients.

Physical Demands
