Overview
Job Summary
Performs physical therapy procedures and other related tasks under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT) and assists the RPT in patient activities. Supervises technicians, volunteers and students as assigned.
QualificationsEducation Required
- Graduate of an APTA accredited educational program for Physical Therapist Assistants required.
License, Certification and/or Registration
- Must have current Alabama license.
- Must receive BCLS certification within orientation period.
- Prefer member of APTA.
