Huntsville Hospital Health System - - Responsibilities:
Answer telephones, greeting all callers in a professional manner and dispatching requests to appropriate persons;
Accurately communicate and dispatch Emergency Codes; initiate offline procedures when indicated;
Maintain equipment, activity logs and checklists;
Answer multiple incoming telephone lines to the hospital switchboard and transfer calls to correct department or patient room extension;
Provide information to callers as appropriate
