The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking a
Juvenile Justice Involved Mental Health Therapist to be the newest member of our innovative interdisciplinary team. This position is responsible for providing evidenced based practices to youth involved with the local court systems. Evenings rerequired 1+ days per week after 5 PM.

Juvenile Justice Involved Mental Health Therapist Primary Duties:

RequirementsEDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy or Professional Counseling, and licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as a LMSW, LMLP,LMFT, LPC, LSCSW, LPC, LCPC OR LCMFT by the first day of employment.
Preferred: LAC, LCAC or LMAC licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
two semester’s master-level practicum experience in a clinical setting providing assessment and therapy services
Preferred: post master’s clinical experience, and experience with the Kansassystem of community-based mental health care and associated evidence-based practices.
