Position: FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST with Security Clearance
Duties As a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GS-0501-07/09, you will perform professional work requiring the application of accounting, budgeting, and manpower principles, theories, concepts, and practices to ensure that financial management, manpower, and accounting systems produce accurate results and meet legal and regulatory requirements. Incumbent performs work which requires adaptation of current or purposed systems and processes and a knowledge of automated resource management systems.

Performs developmental assignments of moderate difficulty where work procedures are established and a number of specific guidelines exist. Work assignments consisting of a series of specific and related tasks have been selected to orient the employee in the practical application of basic occupational principles, concepts, and techniques. Assignments are combined with training to further develop analytical skills and techniques in the occupation.

Assistance in solving problems is available from the supervisor or a higher-graded employee. Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

This position works on a 5/4/9 compressed work schedule that consists of a 5-day workweek, then a 4-day workweek (eight 9-hour days and one 8-hour day and an SDO, Scheduled Day Off) to complete the 80-hour pay period. Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements. * KANSAS NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED. If you are not sure you are eligible for military membership, please contact a National Guard recruiter prior to applying for this position.
* This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement.
* Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.

* Financial Management Level Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d. Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance within one year of appointment
* This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
