WHAT IS KIDSTRONG?
Kid Strong is a kids training program that builds strong, confident and high-character kids.
Kid Strong Atascocita is rapidly growing and we're looking for talented, enthusiastic professionals who are passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives. We are looking for a camp coach with an athletic or coaching background who ideally has experience in summer camps or coaching kids ages 4 - 11. This is a seasonal role, expected to support our camp season from [seasonal period].

- The Kid Strong Camp Coach would coach children through daily programming designed to support brain, physical and character development.
- Ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding any incidents that take place during camp.
- Camps runs, from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Opportunity to increase scheduled hours through party coaching hours
- Camp group sizes up to 20 - 30 children, ages ranging from 4-11!
- Teach the Kid Strong Camp curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team.
- Ensure camp starts and ends on schedule and follows camp schedule.
- Greet and check-in kids as they arrive to camp and keep an accurate record of attendance at all times.
- Maintain dynamic, fun, motivational and professional demeanor when leading camp activities.
- Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises - must be able to work in a physically intense environment and repeatedly move and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ensure cleanliness of the center including the lobby, bathrooms, and blue floors - this includes taking out the trash, sweeping and mopping, wiping down equipment, and sanitizing the mat at the end of a shift.
- Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack, our company messaging system, including periodic checks of messages when not in centers.
- Complete required training and must obtain In-Center Camp Rollout, Camp Coach Exam, and be signed off by a Center Leadership.
- Must be comfortable working directly with kids to ensure proper technique and ensure student safety.
- Attend additional mandatory staff meetings as required by Kid Strong General Manager.
- Supervision, safety, and program implementation for campers while ensuring the well-being of all children.
- Other duties as required.
- Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
- Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate Kid Strong age is preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter who just gets a job done

Pay Range: $12 - $15 hourly
