Room Attendant

Spring Hill Suites Paso Robles Hotel by Marriott is looking for full-time and part-time Room Attendants to join our Team! The room attendant is responsible for cleaning rooms, hallways and other areas as assigned and complying with Company

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Clean guest rooms to Company standards including but not limited to: making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms completely, wiping down walls, etc.
• Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager.
• Follow Company policy for room amenities.
• Maintain complete security of master room key. Return the key at the end of shift.
• Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention.
• Report any missing/found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Pay Scale: $17.00 to $17.50/hr.

Education

• Preferred:
  High School

Experience

• Preferred — Previous one (1) year experience is preferred.

• Basic cleaning skills.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests, management and fellow team members to their understanding desirable.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments.
• Dependable.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently walking indoors and outdoors, climbing stairs.
• Repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, crawling, lifting and carrying.
• Reaching above, at and below shoulder level.
• Lifting and carrying unassisted up to 20 lbs.
• Exposure to cleaning agents.
