Large company seeking a Finance Manager to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role plays a critical part in driving financial performance, operational excellence, and long‑term strategic initiatives for our organization.
This is a high‑visibility, high‑impact position supporting Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial leadership—ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, manufacturing‑driven environment.
What You’ll Do- Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial Leadership to deliver financial commitments and support strategic initiatives.
- Lead month‑end close and forecasting; analyze variances vs. budget/prior forecast and present insights to BU GM and Leadership Team.
- Support agenda planning for L2 reviews with BU leadership.
- Manage and monitor inventory, including slow‑moving and excess/obsolete items, ensuring footprint optimization.
- Collaborate with the Finance Director and GM on Strategic Plan financials and the annual Budget.
- Work with the Commercial Team to own the orders forecast, analyzing market changes, price dynamics, and share gain/loss.
- Prepare financial modeling for NPD paybacks and other ad‑hoc strategic analyses.
- Publish weekly labor productivity & variable‑spend reporting; provide corrective action recommendations.
- Support M&A efforts including due diligence and integration initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, corporate policies, statutory requirements, and annual physical inventory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA, CMA, or CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
. - Strong ability to educate, influence, and partner with both finance and non‑finance leaders.
- Proficiency with MS Office; experience with D365 and Tableau a plus.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑accountability environment.
- Business Insight: Strong grasp of business drivers and operational realities.
