We are currently hiring for a PRN Surgical Technologist within the Surgery department at Aspen Valley Health.
Work ShiftRotating - 10 Hours
Compensation Range$36.40 - $58.25 Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour! (Final compensation determined by qualifications, experience, education, certifications.)
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements- Unrestricted license to practice as a Surgical Technologist (ST) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
- 2 years recent O.R. experience preferred.
- Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT TS‑C or NBSTSA CST) preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Position OverviewMaintains sterile field and instrumentation for all surgical procedures. Prepares the operating room and supplies for each surgical case in a neat and efficient manner. The Surgical Technologist (ST) will communicate with all other members of the Perioperative team to give the highest standard of care according to AORN standards for patients in the intraoperative period. The ST works collaboratively with co-workers, stocks and orders supplies for the department.
The ST provides additional supportive patient care as directed by others.
As a PRN employee, you will be eligible to purchase discounted bus passes for transportation to and from work, 457B, and also participate in a number of AVH hosted programs.
