• Assists with patient care
• Performs clerical functions
• Maintains and promotes a safe, clean and organized environment for the delivery of patient care

• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic calculations at a level preferably acquired through completion of a high school education or equivalent
• Previous experience in a pediatric healthcare environment preferred
• Interpersonal skills necessary to gather and share information with physicians, patients, visitors, families, and team members in a courteous and confidential manner
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and prioritizing skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks done simultaneously
• Physical ability to lift and position patients weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as push and pull when performing cleaning functions
• Frequently bends, lifts, twists, reaches, and squats
• Occasionally push/pulls and does overhead work, including splint cart and patients in wheelchair
• Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required
