The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers make a difference in people's lives. Through the collection and resale of gently used goods, we provide financial support to assist men and women with various social and spiritual afflictions. The in-residence rehabilitation program focuses on basic necessities, ensuring every participant has a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure activities, group and individual counseling, and spiritual direction.
Our efforts aim to develop life skills and foster a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Each team member contributes to recycling goods that literally recycle and repair broken lives.
The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Sales and Production Associate to work in a production store and perform a wide variety of duties in the store and production area. The Sales and Production Associate will maintain order, create a pleasant work environment, and uphold customer relationships.
Responsibilities- Assist in creating a pleasant and hospitable work environment and maintain good customer relationships.
- Assist with store operations as required.
- Serve all customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Handle all donations with care and treat donors with respect and courtesy.
- Handle merchandise as directed, maintaining proper categories and colorization.
- Ensure that the store is sufficiently stocked and “ragged out” in accordance with the “ARC COMMAND RAG OUT CALENDAR.”
- Assist in cleaning and general maintenance of store property.
- Report theft, customer complaints, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management immediately.
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area.

manual. - Support the work therapy program by providing beneficiaries with examples of professional conduct, work habits, and supervision as directed by the Supervisor.
- Other duties may be assigned by immediate supervisor, Store Supervisor, Assistant Store Supervisor, and/or Administrator.
- Ability to speak and understand English for effective communication.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
