ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift travel assignment in Ashtabula, OH. 13-week contract for experienced Critical Care RNs with ventilator management, ACLS, and Epic EMR experience.

- Role: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Critical Care RN – Travel Nurse
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel nursing contract)
- Start Date: March 30, 2026
- End Date: June 29, 2026
- Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:08pm – 7:30am)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Unit: 15-bed ICU (average daily census:
8) — adult & geriatric critical care - Orientation: 12 hours (unit-specific orientation)
- Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Float: Must be willing to float to Med/Surg if needed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890 (competitive travel nurse pay)
- Experience: Minimum 18 months recent ICU experience; charge experience required
- License: Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Certifications: AHA BLS & ACLS required; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start
- EMR: Epic EMR experience required (charting accuracy essential)
- References: Two supervisory references from ICU specialty (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director)
- Clinical Skills: Ventilator management, care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation titration, central and arterial line care, pulmonary artery line/Swan-Ganz monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Other: Facility is 100% tobacco-free; negative 10-panel + nicotine drug screen required within 12 months of start (nurses and CSTs currently exempt from nicotine-free policy)
- Deliver comprehensive, high-acuity critical care to adult and geriatric ICU patients as an ICU RN / Critical Care RN
- Assess, stabilize, and continuously monitor critically ill patients, including ventilator management and IV sedation titration
- Recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and implement evidence-based interventions (ACLS protocols)
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot invasive lines: arterial, central, and pulmonary artery/Swan-Ganz
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Radiology, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response, and Physical Therapy
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic EMR
- Flex and float to Med/Surg as needed based on census and staffing
- Advance your critical care skills in a modern 15-bed ICU caring for adult and geriatric patients
