Job Description
We are hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join a clinical laboratory team in Ashland, Wisconsin. This role plays a critical part in patient care by performing laboratory testing that supports accurate diagnosis and treatment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform laboratory testing in areas such as hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, immunology, and blood bank
- Accurately analyze specimens and report results in a timely manner
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
- Follow quality control, safety, and regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, OSHA)
- Communicate critical values to clinical staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory records
What We’re Looking For
MLT:
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- ASCP (or equivalent) certification or eligibility
MLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- ASCP (or equivalent) certification or eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a clinical or hospital laboratory
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Schedule
- May include days, evenings, nights, weekends.
