Job Summary The Brain Bowl Activity Assistant supports the coordination and facilitation of a Brain Bowl competition, an academic event focused on teamwork, critical thinking, and knowledge-based challenges. This role assists school staff in ensuring the event runs smoothly, fairly, and in accordance with school policies.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Support the facilitation of Brain Bowl rounds and activities.
- Monitor student participation to ensure positive behavior and sportsmanship.
- Enforce competition rules and time limits under staff direction.
- Assist with scorekeeping and organization of materials.
- Help with event breakdown and clean-up.
- Attends work regularly and is punctual.
- Annually pass the District's required online training by the District's assigned due-date.

- Ability to work effectively with students in a school setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Prior experience with academic competitions or student activities preferred
- Must meet school/district background check requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with others, including understanding and being understood. While much of the work will be completed in an office environment, the employee will need to move between buildings, visiting sites throughout the district. This position requires the use of a variety of digital systems, software, and hardware. This position may require some travel outside the district.
