The Transportation Driver supports our mission and values by providing resident transportation and vehicle care, following facility policies and federal, state, and local regulations.

• Respect and show kindness to all residents.
• Ensure vehicles are free of hazardous debris.
• Protect and maintain confidentiality of residents' information and rights.
• Maintain nursing care standards and follow facility policies and procedures.
• Report all pertinent information to the Director of Housing and appropriate support staff.
• Maintain all work areas in accordance with safety policies.
• Perform daily tasks in accordance with infection control and precaution policies.
• Follow body mechanics, positioning, transfers, and mobility procedures.
• Ambulate residents in accordance with individual care plans.
• Schedule medical appointments for residents.
• Assist residents with toileting when out on appointments.
• Dress in accordance with facility dress code policy.
• Participate in facility committees and provide input.
• During downtime, perform duties assigned by supervisor.
• Clean vehicles inside and out as needed.
• Gas vehicles as needed.
• Perform oil changes at service centers as needed.
• Conduct monthly safety checks on all vehicles.
• Monthly cleaning of transportation wheelchairs and layback chairs.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Current and valid Ohio State Driver's License.
