Position Summary:

Since 1961, the Wellborn family has owned and operated Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. The goal is to provide kitchen and bath cabinets crafted by dedicated Wellborn employees with the utmost quality and care. Today, over 55 years later, the product line has broadened to include cabinetry and storage solutions to help maximize the total home living space. As the final person to see and touch the product before it is packaged, this role will employ care, quality control, and organizational skills to help carry out the full responsibilities that will continue to make Wellborn Cabinet, Inc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applies paper to the entire face of the cabinet (cabinets painted with Base coat paint only)
• Applies plastic pieces on 4 corners of the front of the cabinet (cabinets painted with Stain paint only)
• Ensures the assembly line is running by helping other teammates to keep the line moving.
• Replenishes paper and plastic wrap when roll is empty.
• Moves product within 40-50 seconds on moving production l

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• No previous experience required

Scope and Impact:

Position has recurring work situations that involve having a high attention to detail and service results. It is important that Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. Safety protocols be followed as a guide for operational direction. Failing to follow prescribed guidelines will waste resources and adversely impact performance.

• Requires good hand/finger dexterity for handling paper or plastic and good eye coordination.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
• Must wear safety glasses (company provided)
