We're seeking a skilled and versatile CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process, working with precision and attention to detail to produce high-quality products.
Overview
As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to cut and shape various materials. You will work closely with our production team to meet deadlines, maintain quality standards, and contribute to the overall success of our operations. This is a temporary to hire position, offering the opportunity to grow and develop your skills with a potential long-term future with our company.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Basic machine operation skills
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills
Nice to Have Skills
- CNC experience (previous experience with CNC machines is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
- 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Other Requirements
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including first and second shifts
- Availability to work a 6.5 hour shift (6:30am-2:30pm or 2:30pm-10:30pm)
- Must be able to pass a background check and provide proof of eligibility to work in Canada
