Shift differential:
Evening $0.75/hr, Night $0.50/hr, Weekend $1/hr salary: $15.00 – $18.30 per hour.
Base Rate $15/hr to $16.80/hr additionally, Evening/Night/Weekend differentials as listed above.
DepartmentBelmont Tower and/or Brookwood Place - Assisted Living
ResponsibilitiesThe CNA supports our mission and values by assisting residents in an Assisted Living setting with activities of daily living (ADLs) in which they are unable to perform without help, fostering at all times residents independence and freedom of choice.
- Provides assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs):
- Dressing/undressing: ensures clothes are clean, season-appropriate, and presentable.
- Bathing: assists with personal hygiene (e.g., shaving, dental hygiene, nail care, hair care).
- Mobility: uses devices enabling independent ambulation (e.g., cane, walker, wheelchair, crutch).
- Dining: provides meal reminders, sets up and cleans tables as needed, transports food from buffet to table, waits tables as needed, room service as needed.
- Toileting: assists in transfer and dressing, assists with incontinence devices.
- Laundry services: delivers and picks up bed/bath linen; personal laundry possible. Will come in contact with a variety of laundry chemicals.
- Health maintenance/monitoring: observes and reports physical/mental changes to Manager or designated nursing staff; conducts room checks and resident rounds; monitors for safety hazards; reports resident-related incidents/accidents.
- Activity program: encourages and reminds residents of scheduled programs. Assists with activities as needed.
- Emergency preparedness: responds to and acts appropriately in emergency/disaster situations or drills; attends mandatory in-services as directed plus enough additional in-services to meet CNA requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills are preferred.
- Onsite presence required.
