Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation | Kingston of Ashland, OH. Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN | On-Site | Ohio License Required.

Kingston of Ashland is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. In this role, you’ll help residents improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic skills while working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to resident-centered care.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans to support resident recovery and independence
• Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions that are engaging and effective
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes accurately in the EHR system
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and families to coordinate care
• Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices
• Ensure therapy practices meet Ohio regulations and Kingston’s standards of care

• Active Ohio Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered
• Skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
