POSITION:
Paraprofessional II (LEAP) (Van Paraprofessional-Special Assignment)
6:45 am 8:45 am & 1:30 pm 3:45 pm
This position is a one-year, non-renew contract for the remainder of the school year.
ROUTE: LEAP Program at Crestview Schools
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must have completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher learning, OR hold an associate's degree, OR have passed the Teacher Parapro praxis exam.
* Must possess experience working with children with multiple and behavioral disabilities.
* Some heavy lifting required.
* Must complete CPI and Safety & Violence Training within the first 60 days of accepting position.
* Must obtain an Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Qualifications through ODE prior to the first day of employment.
SPECIAL NOTES:
* Position requires the ability to work with special needs students.
* Physical ability to handle wheel chairs and other equipment related to special needs students.
* The student's family may elect to stop their student attending school at any given time during this school year. This would void the contract.
COMPENSATION RANGE:
Per the terms of the Negotiated Agreement
