• Assist customers with full valet parking service, including personal device removal (wheelchairs, walkers, oxygen, etc.).
• Operate all types and sizes of non‑CDL vehicles, including the KDMC shuttle vehicle.
• Greet customers at entrance areas and park vehicles in the requested location.
• Monitor parking areas and external campus areas for security infractions and safety violations; report unusual situations to Security Officers and assist with incidents.
• Safeguard and appropriately place customers’ keys.
• Perform all aspects of Valet service, including Shuttle, Main Desk, Hut, Circle, and Valet operations.
• Assist with Operation Snowflake as needed.
• Complete a UK King's Daughters approved driving course and test annually and as requested.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Three years of driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license with no incidents in driving history.
• Successful completion of UK King's Daughters approved driving course and test.
• Preferred:
  Ability to operate standard and automatic vehicles.

• Constantly required to operate a motor vehicle.
• Exposed to varying weather conditions.
• Moderate noise level.
• Exposed to exhaust and automobile fumes.

• Must stand, walk, and move about constantly.
• Must position self to operate vehicles of all sizes.
• Must lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds regularly; occasionally up to 100 pounds; and push or pull items up to 100 pounds.
• Must communicate with patients and care team (talking and hearing).
• Requires good close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision.
