Position OverviewPollard Place is seeking an experienced and compassionate Residential Team Lead to oversee daily operations and support the daily living and psychosocial needs of adults living with severe mental illness. This leadership role is responsible for guiding residential support staff, coordinating activities and schedules, and ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive residential environment that promotes recovery and independence.
Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to Residential Support Staff
- Assist and monitor residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Supervise medication self-administration in accordance with established guidelines
- Coordinate and oversee daily activities, programming, and resident schedules
- Support psychosocial rehabilitation and skill-building activities
- Ensure a structured, safe, and supportive residential environment
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and supervisors
- Accurately document resident activities, behaviors, and progress as required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively with adults who have severe mental illness in a residential setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and documentation requirements
- Prior experience working with individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI)
- Experience in residential, behavioral health, or human services settings
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with the SMI population
- Experience building resident skills and providing guidance to staff
- Ability to supervise daily activities and resident schedules
- Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred
