JOB SUMMARY

The Central Supply clerk is expected to assist with stocking medical equipment and ordering of supplies for the facility.

• Overall performance rating of below indicated essential job duties:
• Assists nursing personnel with responsibility of stocking medical equipment.
• Will report inventory to Quality & Finance on scheduled basis.
• Inventories and requests nursing supplies, equipment and forms as directed.
• Orders Nursing supplies as needed or approved by Quality RN.

• Minimum requirement:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated skills in general office procedures.
  • Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions, such as work processing, graphics, databases and spreadsheets.
  • Typing proficiency of 50-60 words per minute required.
  • Ability to project positive professional and customer-service image.

• Frequently required to maintain a stationary position while stocking supplies or ordering equipment.
• Frequently required to move about inside the facility.
• Constantly required to communicate telephonically and face to face with colleagues and customers.
• Frequently required to use fine motor skills to handle and operate instruments/devices.
• Constantly required to operate a computer and telephone.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
