Oak Plains Academy! Oak Plains Academy (UHS Company) is a comprehensive, highly structured 98-bed residential treatment program offering psychiatric residential treatment services to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral issues. Residents receive individualized treatment plans to meet their personal needs. A professional team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, therapists, nurses, and teachers serve hundreds of children and adolescents annually with the common goal of treating trauma and building resilience.

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines.
• Ensure food safety standards are met during food handling and preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to plan menus that meet the nutritional needs of residents.
• Support the dietary department in inventory management and food ordering.
• Provide excellent service during meal times, ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.
• Assist with meal preparation tasks as needed.
• Follow all health regulations and company policies regarding food service.

• Previous experience as a Dietary Aide or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and dietary guidelines.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff and residents.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be the age of 21 years old or over.
• This role requires a successful background check, fingerprinting and employment verification.
