Evening Shift Manager

Evening Shift Manager Our client is seeking an experienced Evening Shift Manager to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards of production efficiency, quality, and safety. You will bring strong technical expertise alongside excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Working closely with the wider team, you will demonstrate effective communication, adaptability under pressure, and a commitment to delivering consistent results in a dynamic production setting.

Key Responsibilities Health & Safety Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and quality assurance standards Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly to the Production Manager Support the implementation of safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment Participate in health and safety briefings and training sessions Performance & Operations Drive line efficiency and productivity Reduce downtime and improve changeover times Ensure maintenance compliance Maintain high quality and safety standards Lead and manage a team of up to 50 staff at peak times Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Line Efficiency Downtime Reduction Changeover Time Maintenance Compliance Quality Performance Safety Compliance Requirements Minimum of 2 years' experience within FMCG manufacturing Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities High attention to detail with a commitment to quality Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Proactive mindset towards maintenance and continuous improvement Proven experience managing large teams Working Hours Monday to Thursday 4:00pm - 2:00am 38 hours per week Location Ashford Salary Competitive, dependent on experience
