Responsibilities
  • Support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes affecting care and care plans, ensuring new needs are met, and keeping written records updated.
  • Be involved in the person‑centred care‑planning process, implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Support residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
  • Act as the key point of contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar care environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  • Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
