Secondary schools across Ashford and Canterbury are regularly relying on us for high-quality supply secondary teachers, and we are looking to expand our bank of reliable educators to support this growing demand. We work with a number of trusted partner schools throughout the area who need teachers for daily general cover, as well as short and longer-term subject-specific roles that often develop from supply placements.

If you enjoy the flexibility of supply but would also welcome the opportunity to move into a longer-term role when the right one appears, this is an ideal opportunity to build strong relationships with local schools. Secondary Teacher responsibilities:
Deliver pre-planned lessons for general cover across KS3–KS4 Maintain strong classroom management and keep pupils engaged in learning Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school settings For longer-term roles, commit to full duration and where required take on full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking Support schools in maintaining consistent learning during teacher absence Secondary Teacher requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised in the UK Recent experience teaching in secondary classrooms Confident behaviour and classroom management skills Flexibility to travel across Ashford, Canterbury and surrounding areas Professional, reliable and adaptable approach to teaching Many of our Canterbury schools regularly take teachers from daily supply into longer-term subject roles, making this a great way to establish yourself locally and secure consistent work.
