Learning Mentor; ELSA-Trained

Position: Learning Mentor (ELSA-Trained)
Location: Kennington

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and proactive Learning Mentor with ELSA training to support the social, emotional, and academic development of our pupils. The successful candidate will:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with social, emotional, or behavioural needs.

Deliver ELSA interventions tailored to individual pupils, helping them develop emotional literacy, resilience, and self-confidence.

Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure consistent support for pupils’ well-being.

Monitor pupil progress, evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, and adjust strategies as needed.

Contribute to creating a positive, safe, and supportive school environment.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Has ELSA training or equivalent qualifications.

Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting.

Is empathetic, patient, and able to build trusting relationships with pupils.

Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Can work independently and as part of a team.
