Cardiology Administrative Assistant/ Support Secretary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant/Support Secretary in the Cardiology department. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic highly motivated, hardworking individual to join a busy, friendly and dedicated team.
Main duties of the job- Accurate data entry of all patient records.
- Scanning documents to patients' electronic records.
- Open and distribute incoming post and prepare outgoing post.
- Supporting the team to ensure all clinical correspondence is typed within the Trust's agreed time frames and proactively take forward any instructions from the medical team including booking outpatient appointments and confirming any investigations necessary are requested.

Qualifications- Educated to GCSE level with A-C grades in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
- Typing/word processing.
- Broad knowledge of basic administration duties.
- Ability to prioritise workload and use own initiative.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Previous NHS experience.
- Knowledge of RTT 18 week pathway.
- Excel.
- To adhere to Governance within the Trust to report as per Trust guidelines.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm whilst working under pressure.
- Polite and friendly attitude.
- Confidentiality.
- Be aware of and adhere to the Trust We Care values.
