Soccer Head Coach – 6 Points Sports Academy – URJ Summer Camp

Join us as a Head Soccer Coach at 6 Points Sports Academy’s URJ Summer Camp.

Significant coaching experience at the college or high‑school level. Residential camp experience is desirable.

As a Head Coach, you will be a positive role model and mentor for campers, guiding them in soccer while fostering personal growth. You will evaluate athlete skill levels, set individualized goals, and implement a skill‑development curriculum in partnership with the Athletic Director. You will support a flexible, community‑focused environment and participate in camp programs such as Color Wars and the 5K Run.

• Care for the physical and emotional needs of each athlete
• Conduct skill evaluations and assist athletes in setting individual goals
• Complete end‑of‑session written evaluations for each athlete
• In partnership with the Athletic Director, establish and execute skill‑development curriculum
• Provide encouragement and positive, constructive feedback to athletes
• Partner with coaches in day‑to‑day supervision and instruction of athletes
• Be involved in daily lives of athletes and coaches; update directors with concerns on a consistent basis, seeking guidance when necessary
• Participate in all‑camp programs such as Color Wars and the 5K Run
• Supervise camper electives and other recreational activities
• Attend daily coaches’ meetings and general staff meetings

Salaries start at $2,200 per session.

• Session 1:
  Sunday June 14 – Sunday June 28
• Session 2:
  Sunday June 28 – Sunday July 12
• Session 3:
  Sunday July 12 – Sunday July 26
• Choose one, two, or all three sessions based on your interest and availability

• Travel reimbursement up to $500 for flights or gas (depending on distance)
• Dormitory housing and all three meals with multiple snacks provided

Located on the state‑of‑the‑art athletic and camp facilities of Asheville School in Asheville, NC, 6 Points Sports Academy has grown from 60 campers in 2010 to over 850 campers each summer. Campers from 37 states and 8 countries participate in intensive sport coaching and an overnight camping experience, fostering friendships and personal growth.

Campers include 4th‑11th grade girls and boys looking to improve skills, meet new friends, and explore their Jewish identity. (You do not need to be Jewish to work at camp.)
