• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or incidents.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the government facility.
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public while upholding the policies of the location.
• Document and communicate all incidents, observations, and/or issues in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
