** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Observe and report any security-related incidents or hazards encountered during patrols.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances.

+ Communicate with staff, students, and visitors in a professional manner while addressing security-related concerns.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.

+ Follow all instructions and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and the client site management.

* + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
