As a member of the management team, you’ll coach and guide associates to ensure we provide a world-class shopping experience and support the professional growth of your team. You’ll manage the daily operation of a multi-million-dollar retail store. Managers are entrepreneurs, innovators, role models, and coaches who drive results and bring the Burlington values to life in our stores, supporting the continuing success and growth of the Burlington brand.
Responsibilities- Lead the store team in all aspects of store operations.
- Day-to-day management of the store.
- Train and develop team members professionally.
- Communicate effectively with the Regional Management team.
- Drive sales by applying Burlington techniques and standards and identifying innovative solutions to support sales growth.
- Ensure and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Maintain appropriate merchandising standards.
- Control expenses and payroll budgets.
- Manage the associate experience and address personnel issues.
- Model outstanding customer service practices and ensure associates consistently deliver excellent service.
- Involvement in one or more operations areas:
Back of House (Receiving/MTA), Markdowns, POS/Front End, Selling Floor, Recovery, Sizing, Fitting Rooms, and departments including Ladies, Men, Youth, Sportswear, Shoes, Home, and Baby Depot. - Assist/support the management team in all areas of store operations, service, and merchandising.
- Human Resources initiatives including staffing, hiring, and BEST scheduling.
- 5+ years of Retail Management experience at an Off Price, Big Box, Specialty, or multi-unit retail organization with experience managing multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budgets.
- Must be available to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Travel may be required from time to time.
Salary Range: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour.
