Department Detail – The Food Services Department strives to maintain the standard of Servant Hospitality and food service set forth by The Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove (BGTC). Food Services is responsible for the overall preparation, service, and presentation of food for any event at The Cove.
Job Summary – The Dining Room Server is responsible for caring for guests during meals served in the dining room, and other locations as needed.
Ministry Summaries
Food Services – The Food Services department seeks to provide a high-quality lunch for staff and their guests, while maintaining accountability to BGEA’s donors. The department services numerous breaks and in-house functions each week, and prepares and serves food for special after-hours events. The goal is to reflect the love of Jesus to each guest as the opportunity to serve arises.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assists with dining room preparations and setup
- Helps to maintain cleanliness and neatness in the dining room and hostess stations
- Serves guests courteously and efficiently
Marginal Duties and Responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned by Food Services Supervisor

- Ability to lift 35 pounds
- Extended daily, evening and weekend hours may be required

The Title VII Exception for Employment – The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is a faith-based organization. Employment requires affirmation and adherence to our Statement of Faith in accordance with Title VII.
Benefits Summary
Associate or Seasonal employees may work up to 19 hours a week (not to exceed 1000 hours per year) and are not eligible for any benefits.
