SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services – UNC Asheville

We are hiring immediately for a SHIFT SUPERVISOR position. Convenient online applications accepted.

UNC Asheville, NC 28804 – 1 University Heights

Sunday to Saturday: 3pm to 10pm (Full Time)

Fixed Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

• Previous shift supervisor and customer service experience preferred

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, suspend employees who fail to meet standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports and ensure unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as contact person for employee complaints or time‑off requests.
• Mentor, develop employees, encourage goal setting and advancement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
