You will prepare meals for our dedicated staff and volunteers, maintain the kitchen, and ensure a clean dining environment. By collaborating with our Office Manager and Volunteer Coordinator, you'll keep accurate reports while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all. In the role of a Cook you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
• Prepare menu, orders, and purchases to serve the staff and volunteers at the Rebuild site
• Work with the Office Manager and Volunteer Coordinator to accurately keep receipt reports and timesheets
• Maintain the kitchen and kitchen equipment
• Prepare breakfast and dinner each day for Rebuild volunteers and staff
• Oversee cleanliness of kitchen and dining hall
• Greet all staff and visitors and utilize volunteers to assist in the kitchen
• All other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) to three (3) years experience in food preparation; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Serve Safe handler certification is required
• Effective time management skills
• Thorough knowledge of inventory management
