Job Description SummarySupports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational facets of the community. Tasks include accounting and bookkeeping, preparing monthly close‑out and financial reports, processing invoices, collecting rent and fees, completing bank deposits and reconciliations, and using property‑management software to record, track, and report on all financial activities.

- Operate the property‑management software (Yardi/One Site) and complete transactions accurately, including updates and backups.
- Review resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, implement collection procedures, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
- Review and submit invoices from vendors and contractors for payment, reconcile work performed, obtain community‑manager approval, code charges to appropriate chart‑of‑accounts codes, and manage communication among vendor, accounting, and owner as needed.
- Follow company procedures for evictions, including proper notice, court representation, and discharge of residents.
- Process resident move‑outs, review lease terms and notice requirements, apply applicable fees, and process dispositions per procedures and legal requirements.
- Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints and requests promptly and taking appropriate action to resolve service issues.
- Act as on‑site supervisor when the community manager is absent, coordinating maintenance, make‑ready tasks, and daily operations in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in managing the client/owner relationship by meeting owners, conducting tours, providing performance updates, and responding to owner requests.
- Stand, walk, sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Push, pull, lift, and carry weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
- Travel may be required to assist other properties, attend training or meetings.
- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Hourly range: $24.00 – $26.00
