We are a passionate landscape company dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. As a Garden Crew Member, you’ll support the day‑to‑day care of gardens and landscapes alongside a team of skilled gardeners and crew leaders. This hands‑on role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their work, and are eager to develop their skills in the landscape industry.
- Sowing, cultivation, and propagation of plants, trees, and shrubs
- Application of chemical and organic herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers
- Trimming, pruning, and general plant care
- Soil management tasks, including amending and grading
- Routine cleaning, weeding, and debris removal
- Digging, lifting, and operating small machinery
- Loading and unloading tools and equipment from trucks and trailers
- Moving and installing soil, mulch, and plant material to assist with garden construction
- Working with purpose, urgency, and attention to detail
- Following the crew leader's instructions and working as part of a team
- Operating hand tools and small equipment safely and efficiently
- Occasionally interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Previous experience in landscaping or gardening is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Strong time management and task prioritization skills
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision and as part of a team
- Must be able to walk, stand, and crouch for long periods outdoors in various conditions, including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
- Expect 40 – 50 hours per week in season (Approximately March 1 – December 15) and 40 hours out of season (weather dependent)
- Pay starts between $16.00 and $19.00+ per hour, depending on experience and plant knowledge
