American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pulmonary Stepdown/PCU position requiring a compact or NC RN license and pulmonary care experience.

• Work in a Pulmonary Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Cares for patients with pulmonary medical needs
• 13-week contract assignment

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent stepdown or PCU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients with acute pulmonary conditions
• Care expectations align with stepdown/progressive care unit standards
• Documentation of US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• References required as specified by state;
  Florida and Missouri require two, all others require one
• No Canadian Social Security Numbers accepted
