Job Summary And QualificationsThe Administrative Supervisor is responsible for clinical operational and administrative oversight for all departments in the absence of the Managers and Directors.
Essential Accountabilities- Coordinates Patient Placement
- Administrative Liaison
- Responsible for Staffing
- Demonstrates leadership through supervision, facilitation and coordination of clinical care.
- Assists with the coordination of management activities and serves as administrative support to Nurse Manager and Nurse Director.
- Participates as a member of the care team to achieve business goals.
Required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Preferred Education:
Master’s Degree.
Required License/Certification(s):
Must have and maintain current license as a registered nurse in North Carolina or one of the compact states as defined by North Carolina Board of Nursing, and must have and maintain current BCLS. In Member hospitals, certification in ACLS and/or PALS may be required.
Preferred Certification:
Specialty Certification in Leadership from National Organization.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ nursing experience with 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
Preferred Experience:
Critical Care nursing experience.
