Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pulmonary Stepdown/PCU position requiring a compact or NC RN license and pulmonary care experience.

Job Details

• Work in a Pulmonary Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting,

• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM,

• Cares for patients with pulmonary medical needs,

• 13-week contract assignment,

Job Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required,

• Minimum of 1 year recent stepdown or PCU experience,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required,

• NIH Stroke Certification required,

• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months,

• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted,

Additional Information

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients with acute pulmonary conditions,

• Care expectations align with stepdown/progressive care unit standards,

• Documentation of US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration,

• References required as specified by state;
Florida and Missouri require two, all others require one,

• No Canadian Social Security Numbers accepted,
