American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring advanced skills in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular procedures and a North Carolina or compact RN license.

• Work in the Operating Room within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio is 1:1 in the surgical unit
• Patient population includes general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, GYN, robotics, plastic, urology, burn, and trauma surgical cases
• Variable schedule with shifts from 6:45AM to 7:15PM and call required
• Floating to other departments may be required
• Uses Cerner for documentation
• Must have no employment gaps equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• US Social Security Number and date of birth are required for consideration
• No local candidates; must live outside a 50-mile radius
• Holiday and call coverage may be required

• Active NC or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience with skill level 3 or higher in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular
• At least one year of recent experience in the specialty required
• Broad experience in multiple OR service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, urology, burn, and trauma
• Documentation experience with Cerner EMR
