• Number of Beds: 101
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically (medical); up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
• Unit staffing description:
  Techs available; work in cardiac monitoring unit and the internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights
• Type of equipment:
  Baxter pumps, GE monitors
• Documentation system:
  Cerner
• Scheduling requirements:
  Every other weekend; can’t commit to block scheduling; scheduling must meet the needs of the department
• Floating policy:
  No floating outside of the ED, but open to floating to all sections in the ED
• Patient Experience requirements: AIDET; respectful behavior; patient experience to each patient; boards updated with information and patient updates throughout the visit
