Job Opportunity – Surgical Trauma ICU RN – North Carolina

Start Date: February 16, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day or night shift available; 1:2 to 1:3 patient ratios; every other weekend required

Highlights:

• 20-bed Surgical Trauma ICU providing critical care to high-acuity patient populations
• Work with advanced equipment including Camino ICP monitors, CRRT, EVDs, wound vacs, and arterial/CVC lines
• Hands-on experience with invasive procedures: central line, chest tube, and arterial line insertions, plus percutaneous tracheostomies
• EMR:
  Cerner
• Structured grid staffing with Clinical Nurse Coordinator support on every shift
• Float to other ICU and progressive care units as needed to expand clinical experience

Requirements:

• Trauma Surgical ICU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
• TNCC and ATCN certifications preferred
• Team-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills
• Active RN license or eligibility for North Carolina licensure
