PICU Registered Nurse - Asheville, North Carolina Job Opportunity – PICU Registered Nurse – Western North Carolina

Start Date: January 16, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 6-week scheduling cycle with 3 weekends required; self-scheduling available

• 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with 1:1 to 1:2 patient ratios
• Alaris pump technology and Cerner documentation system
• Work at a Magnet-designated facility and one of America's 50 Best Hospitals (Health grades )
• Part of the region's only Level II trauma center and children's hospital
• Comprehensive critical care case mix including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and trach care
• Float opportunities to Pediatrics and NICU for variety and skill development

• Active North Carolina RN license
• PALS certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year PICU experience
• Proficiency in IV starts, catheterization, central line dressing changes, tube feeding and placement, and ventilator management
