Job Opportunity – Progressive Care / Telemetry Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: February 2, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, no call

Highlights:

• 20-bed inpatient overflow unit with mixed medical-surgical and step-down patients
• Short-stay focused with approximately 24-hour average length of stay and quick turnover
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 depending on acuity level
• All patients hardwired to bedside telemetry monitoring
• Cerner EMR system in use
• Floating to other units as needed based on facility requirements

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Telemetry competency required
• Progressive Care experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Recent progressive care experience strongly preferred
• Dress code:
  Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, or all white scrubs
