Job Opportunity – Surgical Trauma ICU Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: February 16, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, day or night available; every other weekend required; patient ratios 1:2 to 1:3

Highlights:

• 20-bed Surgical Trauma ICU with advanced critical care capabilities
• Work with high-acuity equipment including CRRT, EVDs, Camino ICP monitors, wound vacs, and arterial/CVC lines
• Experience with bedside procedures: central line, chest tube, and arterial line insertions, plus percutaneous tracheostomies
• Cerner EMR system
• Grid staffing model with Clinical Nurse Coordinator support on each shift
• Float opportunities to MICU, NSICU, CICU, CVICU, and progressive care units

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina RN license or ability to obtain
• Trauma Surgical ICU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC and ATCN preferred
• Strong teamwork orientation and collaborative communication skills
