Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg-Oncology position requiring an active NC or compact RN license and oncology certification.
Responsibilities
• Work in a combined Med/Surg Oncology and Women's unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Care for oncology and women's health patients
• Duties focus on providing nursing care to oncology and women's health patients within the unit
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Team structure and support are available within the unit
Requirements
• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent oncology nursing experience required
• Oncology certification (ONC) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC required; certification must be valid for at least 30 days beyond start
• Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and date of birth
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
• A minimum of one professional reference required for consideration
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the hospital; local candidates are not eligible
