Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift STICU position requiring a compact or NC RN license and critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) setting

• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

• Patient population includes surgical and trauma ICU cases

• 13-week contract assignment

• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius

• Care for high-acuity surgical and trauma ICU patients as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Complete required documentation and skills checklist prior to assignment

• Must be able to provide copies of all certifications and license verifications

• RTO may be limited and should be discussed during the application process

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required

• Minimum of 1 year recent STICU or ICU experience

• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required with no expiration in the first 30 days

• NIH Stroke Certification required

• Providing U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Professional references required (two for Florida and Missouri, one for other states)
