Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position with night shifts and advanced fetal monitoring certification required.
Responsibilities- Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
- Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Care for laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced department
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Deliver patient-centered care throughout labor and delivery, including monitoring and supporting mothers and infants
- No local candidates accepted; must live outside a 50-mile radius
- Submission requires complete and current documentation with verification of license and certifications
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
- Intermediate or advanced AWHONN or NCCEFM fetal monitoring certification required
- Current NRP Advanced 9th Edition certification from AAP required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- One professional reference required for states except FL and MO, which require two
- U.S. Social Security Number (no Canadian SSNs accepted) and DOB required for consideration
